Meat Raffle & Dinner to Honor Crew of Rescue Helicopter Pedro 66

The rescue helicopter Pedro 66 was shot down in Afghanistan while trying to rescue a wounded British soldier on June 9, 2010. VFW Post5791 has donated the post hall for a fundraising Meat Raffle & Dinner in honor of the sacrifices of the Pedro 66 crew. The money raised will go to the "That Others May Live Foundation," which awards scholarships to children of rescue helicopter crews who need support. Hudson VFW Post 5791 is fortunate to have a Board member of the Foundation as a Post member, Charlene Vance. In addition to the meat raffle, there will be a 50-50 as well as many raffle prizes. This promises to be a fun evening, so buy your tickets soon before they sell out.
