Meat Raffle Fundraiser Scott Anderson Memorial Scholarship

Doors open at 6:30, meat raffle begins at 7 PM, free admission. Other raffle prizes include a 55" Vizio TV, gift cards, and themed baskets.

This fundraiser helps fund the Scott Anderson Memorial Scholarship presented by WGI (Winter Guard International Sport of the Arts).The scholarship, created last year by his wife Diana, Secretary of the VFW Post 5791 Auxiliary, recognizes a youth who takes part in the non-profit WGI indoor color guard, percussion, or winds competitions. For many years, Scott participated in helping run the indoor competitions, while Diana did and does data tabulation. At last year's World Championships, Scott was remembered by the participants for his always calm, cheerful guidance at the events. The scholarship is awarded by WGI on Diana's behalf at the Percussion World Championship.
