Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and Facilitate: Guide students through hands-on learning experiences using platforms like Typing.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
- Foster Digital Citizenship: Engage students in discussions around online responsibility, digital identity management, and the impact of their digital footprints.
- Enhance Communication Skills: Encourage creativity and effective presentation techniques through project-based learning and group activities.
- Promote Critical Thinking: Help students analyze information, recognize bias, and make informed decisions in the digital landscape.
Compensation: Teacher salary range starts at $48,000 according to the HFT collective bargaining agreement pay scale and ranges up to a top step salary of $86,250 at M+30.
