Free tax preparation services will be available beginning in early February 2026 for qualified Greater Nashua residents through a partnership led by United Way of Greater Nashua, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and trained community volunteers. The NH Department of Transportation presented the Hudson Board of Selectmen at their January 13, 2026 meeting the dissolution of the Circumferential Highway. "It has become evident that the Circumferential Highway will not be built and the State believes it would be in the best interest of the community and NHDOT to dispose of all the property that has been acquired. The buildings would be in better hands if they were privately owned and the vacant properties returned to the Town tax base if applicable."
